I work at The Fellowship of San Diego as a ministry assistant. I’ve grown up in the church and my family has definitely experienced the ups and the downs of ‘church life’. We’ve been burned by those who claim a relationship with Christ and we’ve also been unimaginably loved by those who have a relationship with Christ. I hope to be the latter in the church. I want to teach people how to grow and sincerely love and care for those around them. God is continually teaching me about who he is and how to see others as he does. I’m married to my wonderful husband Adam Powell. He’s a musician among other things. We enjoy creating music in our little office/music room. I dabble in painting. I’m not very good at it, I just like it. I’m currently teaching myself to embroider. I want to make some embroidery wall art. I’m pretty excited about it. I like good coffee, books, dark chocolate, art, cooking, music, the east coast, scarves, riding my bike and my community.
